Submissions

Blue Accordion Press is a small independent publishing company that releases approximately 4 titles per year in cooking, home and garden and entertaining as well as poetry and business books focussing on real estate and entrepreneurship.  We accept submissions for titles in any of these categories.

Please note, at this time we are only accepting submissions from Canadian authors.

Guidelines for Submissions:

Please send us a cover letter, which includes your full name, contact information, details about your credentials and any of your previously published works. Tell us why you think this book is important and who you see as your ideal reader.

We will also be looking for a synopsis or brief overview of your project and a sampling of the work including the table of contents.

For cookbooks please include 10 to 15 recipes and let us know what you have in mind for photography or illustrations. If you are providing your own artwork please include samples, but do not send originals.

We read and consider each submission carefully.  Depending on volume of submissions it may take up to six months for us to reply.  Please do not call to check on the status of your submission.  If you have any questions you may contact us by email or post.
